Thanks, this is really useful. We went to Yak and Yeti soon after it opened and though they had nothing on the menu that was vegan, they were really accommodating. The chef came to our table so he could understand exactly what I needed and he was careful to consider which of the dishes could be made vegan eg without ghee. The meal was lovely and I felt confident it was precisely vegan.

When we ordered from ‘Thai ka waysis’, they had no tofu on the menu, and when I asked about it, the chef insisted on going home to his own fridge to get some, despite my protestations that I could just have veggies! He was also able to cater for my fish paste avoidance. Again, the food was very good.
